I am so sorry to do this to you in the same week however I wanted to cancel tonight's review of 'The Runaways' and talk about the exciting line up that Cannes Film Festival has presented to us earlier today!


Of course Baz Luhrmann who is finally being given the privilege to open the festival with probably the most anticipated film of the summer, 'The Great Gatsby'. I studied the film last year in my English Literature course and was a huge fan of the novel, so you can imagine how excited I am that Gatsby is finally being put back on the big screen. I also so happy with the choice of Gatsby as I really cannot imagine anyone being as epic as Leonardo Dicaprio already looks and hopefully he will finally get the Oscar he deserves.
