How are you all on this sunny Thursday? I am a little excited as I am dying to see and tell you about this film!
Selected as part of the competition at Cannes Film Festival this year, 'The Rover' starring Guy Pearce and Robert Pattinson, is the latest film from director David Michôd.
Set in the future, the film focuses on mankind's greed and excesses that have led to the world being pushed to breaking point!
Society is declining, laws have been broken and life is cheap, but for loner Eric played by Pearce, who is travelling through the Australian Outback, his life is about to get a lot worse. When a gang steal his car and last possession, he soon finds himself fighting to get them back, by forcing one of the thieves who was left behind, Rey to help him track the gang down.
He will go to any lengths to get back the one thing that mattered to him and he doesn't care what he has to do to get them.
The film is due out on the 22nd August, but you can watch the trailer now...
I'M SO EXCITED FOR THIS FILM! Sorry aha, but I think it is going to steal the show at Cannes Film Festival, because it just looks amazing! The kind of film that will make you sit on the edge of your seat the whole way through.
