UPDATED POST! PECCADILLO PICTURES ANNOUNCE 2015 POUTFEST TOUR LINE UP...

Hey Lovelies, 

I am back at last lovelies and I have some very different, but very welcome news to share with you now from Peccadillo Pictures, as they have announced that the line up to their POUTfest Tour lovelies! 


With the support of the BFI and National Lottery Funding, the tour will be shown to all of you lovelies and a number of audiences around the country, to show some of the incredible LGBT films, short films and documentaries that have been created over the past year. 

As well the event will also host a number of Skype Q&As with the stars and creators of the films, interviews, extra features and a number of panels and discussions around the films, which including ‘52 Tuesdays’, ‘Soft Lad’, ‘A Girl At My Door’ and ‘Dressed As A Girl’. 

UPDATE: 'Soft Lad' will be airing at HOME Manchester on the 12th August at the Picturehouse Central, the 16th August at the Filmhouse Edinburgh and the Ultimate Picture Palace Oxford on the 20th of October lovelies, before it is released on DVD from the 9th November. 

Each screening will be shown at a Picturehouse, ICO, Vue and Showcase cinema, who may host their own events surrounding the screenings lovelies, so have a look out for them, especially if you are a student lovelies as you may get a few extras. 

Speaking about the tour, Paul Ridd from Picturehouse, our Principle Cinema Partner, said: “We are so proud to be supporting this diverse programme of films at our brand new flagship West End venue, Picturehouses across the UK and via our Discover Tuesdays strand. Peccadillo pride themselves on distributing the very best in contemporary Queer Cinema and we have always relished the opportunity to work with them.”

As well, Ben Luxford, BFI’s Head of UK Audiences said:  “POUTfest Tour is an incredibly exciting initiative fuelled by absolute passion and commitment by Peccadillo. With Lottery support we hope to see as many cinemas and circuits pick up and engage with the tour as possible to help reach the widest audience for these extraordinary films.”
