Hey Lovelies, 

As someone who has watched anime films for a while now, I was interested in seeing the story of ‘Miss Hokusai’ come to life on screen, as it has just been released on DVD lovelies. 

In one hour and 30 minutes, the film follows a father and daughter duo as they take on the art world and make it a beautiful and peaceful film. With so many classic painters and art forms being mentioned, the film could easily get lost in that world, but it doesn’t completely. 

The story between the father and daughter is what moves this film and will move the audience as well, as it manages to capture them in all of their glory and tell a story that deserves to be told.
