ABSOLUTE BEGINNERS DVD REVIEW...

14:24:00

Good Morning Lovelies,

With 2016 being a horrible year after the loss of so many including David Bowie, Second Sight have done an incredible thing and allowed us to celebrate his career further by releasing Absolute Beginners on Blu-ray for the first time ever in the UK.

Full to the brim with incredible performances and talent, the film which was directed by Julien Temple’s is set in the 1950s, a time when everything was changing for the teenagers who lived in London. The characters in the film are experiencing these challenges first hand and in an exciting way.

Temples has given realism to the story and made them powerful figures that have gone on and inspired further performances. Bowie is a key figure in this and his acting talents stand out amongst the others. Not only because of his presence but the talents he had in being a person people could connect with.

Set to an equally impressive soundtrack and the film captures the 50s in the UK in the perfect way. It is a soundtrack that you couldn’t expect any less from, especially with Bowie in the cast. If you aren’t interested in watching it for the acting then the soundtrack is the reason to.

And when placed all together it has earned itself this…
