One Million Years BC DVD Review

07:00:00

Good Morning Lovelies,

50 years ago, the film, One Million Years B.C., was released, creating a cult classic for Hammer films and fans for years to come. Now being re-released on a double play version, the film has proven again that it can stand the test of time.

Starring Raquel Welch, the film is famed for its bikini scene, but it is based and follows a story that provides so much more. The story follows human life as they battle to survive and made a star of all of those that featured in it.

While the graphics are a bit funny at times, the story showed audiences 50 years ago that the magic of cinema could produce big, historical and interesting elements with talent providing the different outcomes and exciting changes that time produces.

Welch made sure that no one leaving the cinema or even now at home that they would forget her and with the new release audiences all over will experience this moment again. She is a star that will definitely stand the test of time along with this film.

Overall the best thing about this film though is the dinosaur action. Obviously paving the way for future films such as Jurassic Park and World, the film made it clear to audiences that this was a film genre that could be explored and produce fun outcomes. It is this film that allowed the others to be possible.

And that is why I am giving it…

4 Stars
