After no sleep, my body is still very much alive and it is all down to last night! From the incredible highs to the amazing OMG moments that was the 2017 Oscars, there isn’t a person in the world today who hasn’t spoken about it.

Of course, many people will be talking about the big mistake, but that wasn’t all that happened during the three-and-a-half-hour show. These moments have caused a lot of debates, discussions and love as well. So, it is my duty to share them with you. This is the 2017 Oscars…

The Best Picture Mix Up: After announcing that La La Land had won the big award of the night, it turned out that Moonlight had scooped it, sending the Dolby Theatre into a riot.

Mean Tweets: Jimmy Kimmel always manages to get celebrities to do some pretty random stuff, but his classic Mean Tweets segment made its way to the Oscars in style, with Ryan Gosling and many more taking part.

The Tour Bus: Getting mixed reactions from those watching the show live, Jimmy invited a tour bus of people to come to the Oscars unexpectedly. Gary soon became a hero to many on the night and even got married to his fiancé, who now knows a Ryan Gosling secret that we don’t.

Matt Damon And Jimmy Kimmel’s Showdown: It is a well-known fact that these two don’t get along (we think they secretly do) but at last night’s Oscars, Kimmel brought the house down with his antics. From calling him a guest to playing him off, their rivalry is not over yet.

Meryl Streep Is Anything But Overrated: In Kimmel’s opening speech, he made sure that everyone knew that Meryl was in the room. A standing ovation from the entire crowd led to tweets to the president that have yet to be responded to.

Sweets Poured Down Hunger Games Style: Treating guests in the same way that Ellen did, Kimmel provided his audience with sweets, cookies and doughnuts throughout the night, which came down in Hunger Games style parachutes.

Justin Timberlake Can’t Stop The Feeling: Opening the show in style, Justin Timberlake brought the room to its feet with his Oscar rendition of his hit Troll’s song, Can’t Stop The Feeling. His dancing with wife Jessica Alba will warm your heart.

While John Legend Brought Us A City Of Stars: Introduced by Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling, the awards show stopped to take moment to celebrate the song that is now stuck in our heads permanently. Beautifully brought together, there was nothing quite like it.

There are many more moments lovelies that I could choose from. The Oscars are always a special time for film lovers and this year’s show is definitely not one we are going to forget for a while. What was your favourite moment from the night lovelies?
