When creating a series, you have to think about the way in which these are going to work out. In the Arrow verse, every character has to be thought about. Especially the superheroes that Oliver Queen is very much in charge of.

In the fifth season of Arrow, the show follows Queen as he comes to terms with being Mayor and the future of Star City. Joined by other Arrow characters, the show sees Green Arrow working hard to defeat the evil figures who are working to kill those around him. Including a very important main character.

Arrow will always be the most advanced of the DC TV series. It has to be. To remain as the first and most adventurous of the DC series that allowed for others to be built, this show has storylines that really hit those emotions. Characters that fans have lived with from the start don't make it to the end of the series and that is captured in the end of the flashbacks for Queen.

There is no time to continue to look back in the show anymore. All his time and emotions must now be spent on making sure no one else gets hurt. It is the perfect set up to making viewers want to watch the sixth season, as they don't know anything about what is to come. Unless they have read the comics!

For a fifth series, the creators and cast of Arrow have made one of their best. There is a sense of finality but also freshness placed all over it and that is what makes it such a winner. Arrow is still riding high and will be doing so for a while in the DC world.
