My Favourite Moments From The 2018 BAFTA Film Awards...

Good Afternoon Lovelies,

Of course, it is always exciting to see who has picked up the big awards of the night, but for many of us, it is the little moments, the key speeches and the funny aspects of the shows that also make them for us. And there were many of them at the 2018 BAFTAs!

During the two-hour live stream, I found myself falling under the spell of the stars and their world, making it easy for me to pick some of the best aspects of the night to share with you all. All I will say is thank you Timothée Chalamet…

Joanna Lumley’s Made An Epic Entrance: From the phone calls to some of the biggest stars, to applying her make up by using a BAFTA as a mirror, Joanna certainly left her mark as the new host of the ceremony…

The Shape Of Water Turns To The Circus: Cirque du Soleil's OVO transformed their normal act into an absolutely stunning portrayal of The Shape of Water. Basking in the films romance, it shows the two art forms connecting beautifully…

Daniel Kaluuya’s EE Rising Star Win and Speech: I will admit now that Daniel was the person I voted for and I am so glad I did. From his funny speech to the loving way he thanked his mum, he was a very worthy winner…

Timothée Chalamet Helping James Ivory Up The Stairs: Timothée is winning over our hearts more and more every day and last night was no exception. Helping James Ivory up onto the stage to collect his award for adapted screenplay, everyone’s and I mean everyone’s heart melted (including mine!)…

Frances McDormand’s Winner’s Speech: Frances McDormand is the woman I want to wake up as every day. Standing up for everything she believes in, she proved that girl power is strong and there is nothing wrong with rebelling…

Salma Hayek Was A True Legend: Before Frances picked up her award, Salma Hayek took to the stage to present Best Actor. After reading out the names, she beautifully shamed the need for two gender categories, with a Frances McDormand name call…

Allison Janney Admitting A British Lie: She may have told people that she went to RADA, but Allison Janney proved last night that she doesn’t need to with her epic win. Now for the Oscar…

Sir Ridley Scott’s Big Win: Picking up the Fellowship award, his first BAFTA, Sir Ridley Scott’s emotional speech showed everyone that they should never give up on their dream no matter their age or what they face. It is truly inspiring lovelies…

What were some of your favourite moments from the night lovelies? Let me know!
